Escape this weekend to Havana and learn about Cuba’s vibrant culture!! Experience Cuba first-hand with our exciting 4-day educational and cultural program. Explore the city, important points of interest, enjoy Cuban art and music, and dip your toes in the richness of Cuba. Meet with a community organization and dialogue with experts on various pressing issues.

In addition to scheduled activities, our programs provide you with multiple opportunities to meet and interact with Cuban people from all walks of life. Take advantage of the chance to exchange ideas and perspectives with you new Cuban friends.

You will be hosted by professional, bilingual coordinators who will expertly guide through your Cuba adventure!

Prices start from $800 based on the type of accommodations and the number of travelers (generally between 2 and 8 participants). Price based on double room occupancy (We will do our best to accommodate double room request for solo travelers, but we cannot guarantee availability. If a suitable room mate is not available, you will be required to pay the single room rate ($100).

Arrival in Modern Havana

Visit to a Tobacco Factory

Learn the details of the process of making the worldwide famous Cuban cigars

Walking tour in Habana Vieja

Explore the historical and oldest district of Havana joined by one of our expert guides; walk along Obispo and Mercaderes street, Plaza San Francisco, Plaza Vieja, Plaza de Armas, and the Cathedral. Visit to Hotel Ambos Mundos and see the room where Hemingway used to stay

Lunch at a paladar in Old Havana (included)

Visit to the Museum of Rum

Visit to La Bodeguita del Medio

 In this iconic and busy place you can enjoy their worldwide famous mojitos

Following Hemingway footsteps

Visit Finca Vigia Museum, Hemingway’s former house

Visit to the famous bar El Floridita

Enjoy a daiquiri, Hemingway’s favorite drink

Optional visit to the Fábrica de Arte Cubano (FAC), an old cooking oil factory that has been restored and is now the venue for concerts and exhibits of vanguard art in Cuba (2 CUC cover not included)

The cost includes the following:

  • Hotel accommodations in Hotel Nacional (5*) or similr for 3 nights in Havana
  • Daily breakfast at the hotel and a second meal as indicated in the program
  • Transfers available for recommended flights. If you select a flight or airline arriving outside of this time frame, you will have to arrange your own transfer. Taxis fare typically run between 20 and 30 CUC per car
  • Ground transportation for all scheduled activities in Havana
  • Entrance/Program fee associated with scheduled activities (unless otherwise indicated)
  • Fees/honoraria for institutions
  • Expenses for Cuban participants (coordinator, guides, drivers and others)
  • Program coordination as it is indicated in the tentative itinerary, translations and expert tour guides
